A curving pathway that invites you to a second “hidden” space at the back of the garden is a personal favourite feature.  David Milne of Quercus Gardens has been the landscaper of our Cabbagetown home for more than 20 years. Not only has David introduced interesting and beautiful plantings, but he’s done wonderful stone work on our back terrace and he provides a very reliable maintenance service too. He has a deep knowledge of plants and always offers up interesting options. Recently he planted the boulevard in front of our house with plants that can be used for dying fabric.  He cares about his work, is reliable and is well priced too. I think the length of our relationship with Quercus says it all.  

 David Milne designed and planted our beautiful city garden almost fifteen years ago. It gives us endless pleasure from season to season and year to year. He and his wonderful team have also kept it tidy and fresh for us through an annual maintenance contract – truly one of the best home improvement decisions we ever made!

 David Milne and Quercus Gardens have designed and planted two urban, perennial, show-stopping front gardens for us. I love the flagstone walk David installed and the beautiful yellow ``Butterflies`` Magnolia tree he found for us. People get out of their cars to take pictures of that tree in its springtime glory and many comment that my front garden cheers them up as they pass by. David's garden plans are special - he worked with my wishes and filled in the practical. 

 We’ve hired David to design and build a back deck and landscape our backyard for our current house and for our old house. Both times David and his team did an excellent job. He is reliable, thoughtful, pays attention to detail and has a good design sense. 

 David and the Quercus Gardens team did an amazing job on my backyard. It was overgrown with old shrubs and trees, and the stonework needed redoing -- and I was up against a tight deadline. In a very short period of time, they transformed my yard into a showcase. There were no surprises and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!
